What is marmoleum? Manufactured by Forbo and made from natural raw materials similar to linoleum, including linseed oil, pine rosins, and wood flour, it is biodegradable and environmentally friendly. The natural properties cause it to strengthen over its life. The water-based Topshield finish considerably reduces the need for initial maintenance and chemicals, while providing lower cleaning costs and a better long-term appearance retention. When properly maintained, Marmoleum will retain its attractive appearance for decades.
Forbo Marmoleum Click is a snap to install. With a simple locking system, Marmoleum Click panels and squares easily “click” into place. Also, because the Click floating floor panels and squares are so well engineered, the seams fit snuggly together, achieving a virtually seamless appearance.
Click is a natural product made primarily from renewable resources. It's inherent anti-static properties repel dust and dirt, making it easy to clean, reducing exposure to allergens.
Lay it, walk on it, and enjoy!
Green? You bet!
Marmoleum is made from renewable, natural ingredients. Linseed oil is obtained from the seeds of flax plants. Wood flour is obtained from lumber industry waste (sawdust) and controlled forests, where every tree felled is replaced. Rosins are harvested from pine trees. The beautiful colours of Marmoleum are achieved by using environmentally responsible pigments. Even the adhesive used to install are environmentally responsible and free of solvents. All these natural properties cause Marmoleum to strengthen over its life and, at the end of its long life, it is biodegradable.
